Dr. Sangeeta Mahesh Borde has been serving in the field of Computer Science education and research for more than 20 years, with 10 years of dedicated research experience. She is currently working at MAEER’s MIT College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Alandi, Pune (since 2008), where she teaches both UG and PG level courses. Her expertise spans across DBMS, RDBMS, Software Engineering, Python Programming, Data Science, Data Analytics, Distributed Operating Systems, and Software Testing Tools.
She has also contributed to academia through her earlier roles at Mahatma Gandhi Mission College, Nanded and Aptech Computer Education, Nanded, teaching a wide spectrum of computer science subjects.

Research & Publications

• Authored 06 Book/Patent Publications.

• Presented and published 22 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences.

• Served as Associate Editor for the International Journal of Advanced Computer and Mathematical Sciences since 2010.

• Acted as a reviewer and judge in state-level and national-level research competitions, fostering young researchers.

Dr. Borde has actively engaged in knowledge enhancement by attending several national-level workshops organized by IITs and other institutions on topics such as AI in COVID-19 Forecasting, R Programming, NPTEL training, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Computer Graphics.
She has also organized and coordinated multiple Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), training programs, and certificate courses to enrich students’ and faculty members’ skills in advanced computing and research methodologies.

• Played a key role in organizing national conferences, webinars, and expert talks.

• Worked as Village Incharge under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), conducting impactful initiatives like Plastic-Free Village campaigns, motivational sessions for school students, and awareness activities on health, cleanliness, and self-development.

• Actively contributed as a coordinator and member of college-level committees, including FDP, NAAC, Alumni, Cultural, and Discipline Committees.
