Leonardo dos Santos Lima was born January, 1978, Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil. He received his PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 2009, and he carried out his postdoctoral work at University of Kaiserslautern in Germany and in Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF) in Brazil. At present, he is a professor of physics at Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerai (CEFET-MG). He is an Editor/Reviewer for Entropy Journal/MDPI and and reviewer of various other international journals as Physical Review B, Europhysics Letters, J. Physics: Condensed Matter, Physics Letters A, J. Magn.Magnetic Mater, Physica A and other international journals of physics. He carries out research and teaching in the fields of theoretical condensed matter physics and quantum physics, where he has published over 100 articles in different peer-reviewed international journals. In 2023, he was one of the 100,000 scientists with the greatesr impact in the world according to ranking published by John Ioannidis, from Stanford University (USA), in partnership with Elsevier: October 2023 data-update for "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" - Elsevier BV (digitalcommonsdata.com). Moreover, he has figurated in World Scientists Natural Sciences/Physics Rankings 2024: World Scientist and UniversityNatural Sciences / PhysicsNatural Sciences Rankings - AD Scientific Index 2024. His mission is to advance the scientific knowledge and innovation in physics and related fields, and to inspire and educate the next generation of physicists and researchers.
