Prof. Bharat Sharma has a distinguished career spanning over four decades in the field of Radiology and Medical Imaging. He began his professional journey with the Army Medical Corps (1978–1988), serving for 10 years, where he gained extensive experience in clinical radiology and medical diagnostics.
He later served as a Consultant Radiologist with the Himachal Pradesh Health Services (1989–1995), providing diagnostic services in challenging healthcare settings.
From 1995 to 2015, Prof. Sharma worked as a Consultant Radiologist at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital & PGIMER, New Delhi, where he contributed to both patient care and teaching.
He subsequently held the position of Professor & Head, Department of Radio-diagnosis at SGT Medical College, Gurugram, Haryana (2015–2022), where he played a pivotal role in shaping the department and mentoring future radiologists.
Currently, since February 2023, he is serving as a Senior Consultant Radiologist at Sadhu Vaswani Mission Medical Centre (SVMMC), Shantiniketan, New Delhi, continuing his commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic care.

Prof. Sharma has an outstanding research profile with 141 publications, including 42 international papers. His work has contributed significantly to advancements in radiological diagnostics, education, and patient management.
