Dr. Veeraswamy Vemula, born on June 18, 1967, in Patlaveedu, Andhra Pradesh, is an eminent Educationist and Engineer with a distinguished career spanning more than three decades. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, a Certificate in Animal Welfare, along with honorary Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees recognizing his scholarly and professional contributions.
He began his professional journey as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee at the Nagarjuna Sagar Hydroelectric Scheme (1991–92) and went on to serve in various academic positions across Andhra Pradesh. His leadership was instrumental in establishing and strengthening Electrical & Electronics Engineering Departments at multiple government polytechnic institutions, including Srisailam, Nandyal, Palamaneru, Vempalli, Kadiri, and currently at S.V. Government Polytechnic, Tirupati.
Teaching, Mentorship & Research
Over the years, Dr. Vemula has guided engineering students, including AMIE candidates, and nurtured future professionals in electrical and electronics engineering. He has actively participated in and presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, contributing to academic discourse and innovation.
