Dr. Kesana Srinivasa Rao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Giri Institute of Development Studies (GIDS), an institute jointly supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. He holds over 33 years of research experience (including Ph.D.) and more than 15 years of teaching experience across multiple domains of economics and development studies.

His teaching and training expertise spans across 130 developing countries in South Asia, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, along with professionals from 25 Indian states, particularly for CAPART, MoRD, Government of India.
