She has 16 years experience in research and teaching. Currently working as Director cum Principal at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Pharmacy, Palampur HP. She received Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jiwaji University Gwalior MP. Her field of research focuses on Natural Products Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, pharmacological screening and standardization of Herbal Plants for their Activity and Herbal Formulation development & standardization. Her area of work including immuno-modulation, management of diabetes, alopecia, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activities. She is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Society of Pharmacognosy.

She is reviewer in many National and International Journals and has more than 35 National and International publications in peer reviewed journals. She also published 8 books & chapters with National and International publisher. She received prestigious awards like young achiever award and young scientist award. She has 8 Indian patent publications, 3 Indian patent grants, 1UK design, and 1 Canadian copyright.
