Dr. Sandeep Tripathi is a dynamic and accomplished research professional with over 10+ years of experience in Research & Development, primarily focused on polymers, Vitrimers based polymers, Recylable Polymers, Sustainable materials, development of new materials, material innovation, analytical sciences, quality management, and aerospace technologies. He is currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer (Manager I) at TE Connectivity, Bangalore, leading multiple materials activities, like Sustainable materials, coating innovation initiatives across domains such as Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M), Medical, Energy, and Industry and Automobile BUs.
Dr. Tripathi has previously held significant roles at Boeing India, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and IIT Kanpur, where he was instrumental in establishing advanced research protocols, safety systems, and pioneering cutting-edge materials and coatings, particularly in aerospace applications.
He completed his PhD from IISc Bangalore within 2 years 16 days fastest PhD in history of Materials Engineering IISc. He is a proud recipient of the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) through the prestigious lateral entry channel—an accolade awarded to only 1.5% of Ph.D. scholars in India.
