DR. ABHA DOSHI WON DISTINGUISHED SCIENTIST AWARD IN THE FIELD OF PHARMACEUTICS


Dr. Abha Doshi has an extensive career spanning over 32 years, with 27 years in academia and 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She is currently serving as the Principal and Professor at MET Institute of Pharmacy, Mumbai, where she has been a faculty member since 1996. She has held the position of Principal since March 2000 and has been a Professor since 2008.

Her industrial experience includes serving as a Production Supervisor at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (1987–1990) and as a Production Executive in the ointment section at Kothari Laboratories, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh (1990–1991).

Dr. Doshi has also made significant contributions as a researcher during her tenure as a Junior Research Fellow and CSIR Research Fellow, working on advanced pharmaceutical projects focused on nanoparticles, prodrugs, and innovative drug delivery systems.
