DR. SHAYEDA SHAIK WON BEST RESEARCHER AWARD IN THE FIELD OF PHARMACY DEPARTMENT


Dr. Shayeda Shaik is an accomplished pharmaceutical researcher and educator with over 20 years of experience in undergraduate teaching and 17 years in postgraduate education. She has guided 40 M.Pharm students in their project work and supervised seven Ph.D. scholars, with six more research scholars currently under her mentorship. She has significantly contributed to the field of pharmaceutical sciences through her research, publications, and patents.

  • Secured 81.79 percentile in GATE-1996, a prestigious national-level entrance exam for M.Pharmacy admissions.
  • Underwent specialized practical training in Aromatherapy for Beauty & Health at the Institute of Herbal Science, Mumbai.
  • Presented research posters at multiple Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) events from 2004 to 2019 in various cities, including Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bombay, Mysore, Vizag, and Chennai.
  • Filed three patents on innovative herbal formulations for skincare, including anti-acne and depigmentation topical creams.
