MS. SHIVANI PANNU WON YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD IN THE FIELD OF SCHOOL OF PHARMACY

Ms. Shivani Pannu is an Assistant Professor at Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Punjab, where she serves as the class in-charge for the final-year B.Pharmacy students. She has been with DBU since September 2021. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Pannu has actively guided over 20 students on their B.Pharmacy projects and has been involved in various leadership roles, including serving as the Alumni Incharge, Activity Incharge, and NSS Incharge of the School of Pharmacy. Her research interests primarily focus on pharmaceutical sciences, with significant contributions to the areas of drug formulation, permeation enhancement, and soft robotics in personalized medicine.

    • Honored with the Best Scholar Award 2023 by INSO at the International Conference for Award Winners in Engineering, Sciences, and Medicine held in Pondicherry.
    • Received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 3rd North Zone IPS Conference in February 2023 for her presentation on the "Comparative Evaluation of Various Chemical & Mechanical Means for Cutaneous Permeation Enhancement of a Pharmaceutical Gel Formulation."
