Prof. Govindarajan Ethirajan is an eminent scientist, academician, and entrepreneur with an illustrious career spanning over 49 years in industry, academia, research, and administration. He is the Chairman of Pentagram Group of Companies, India and the Founder President of Pentagram Research Centre (P) Ltd., Hyderabad. Trained as an Electronics Engineer and a Professor of Signal Processing, he has guided more than 100 Ph.D. scholars, supervised 60+ M.S./M.Tech theses and 40+ B.Tech projects, and conducted 18 Ph.D. viva examinations across India and abroad.
His academic engagements have included invited talks at leading institutions such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, University of Maryland, Georgia Institute of Technology, MIT Lincoln Laboratory (USA), University of Aegean (Greece), Kepler University (Austria), Russian Academy of Sciences (Siberia), and several Indian universities.

He has authored six seminal books, including Symbolic Computing – Signal and Image Processing, Foundations of Information Technology, and a classified work on Electronic Order of Battle Records of Military Radars published by the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.
