Prof. Ashwini Sood is an esteemed academician and researcher with over 29 years of experience in Chemical Engineering. He holds a B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) from the prestigious IIT Kanpur (1988), an M.S. (Chemical Engineering) from Lehigh University, USA (1991), and a Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow (2006). Demonstrating academic excellence early on, he cleared all the major engineering entrance exams in 1984 with high ranks and secured 2nd rank in GATE (1988).

He specializes in Chemical Reaction Engineering, Emulsion Polymerization Processes and Reactors, and Rheology of Dispersions. As a dedicated mentor, he has supervised numerous B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. theses, significantly contributing to polymerization modeling and reaction kinetics. His expertise extends to consultancy services and peer reviewing for prestigious journals.

He is an active reviewer for 17 scientific journals, a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), and a consultant for Bajrang Petrochemicals Limited.
