She earned her PhD in Microbiology from Siksha 'O' Anusandan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar. She is currently contributing her expertise as a researcher at the Biofuel and Bioprocessing Research Center, ITER, Siksha 'O' Anusandan (Deemed to be University).
