PROF. DR BABLU KUMAR GAUR WON BEST RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR IN THE FIELD OF PEDIATRICS


Prof. Dr. Bablu Kumar Gaur is a distinguished pediatrician with extensive academic and clinical experience in neonatology and child health. He has served in leadership roles across various pediatric initiatives, including mentoring Special Newborn Care Units (SNCUs) in Moradabad and Sambhal districts. He has been appointed as Chairperson in prestigious conferences such as the UP PEDICON (2024) and CME on common neonatal practice (2025). Dr. Gaur has also served as coordinator for multiple national-level Pediatric Quizzes for postgraduate and undergraduate students at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College & Research Center, TMU Moradabad.

Honors and Awards

Throughout his career, Dr. Gaur has been recognized for his contributions to pediatric education, research, and clinical excellence. His awards include participation certificates from esteemed institutions like PGIMER Chandigarh, M.P State PEDICON, and NEOCON, along with appreciation certificates as quiz master for numerous IAP pediatric quiz competitions. He has been a key organizer and trainer in various continuing medical education (CME) programs and workshops.

Dr. Gaur has significantly contributed to pediatric research with a total of 40 publications, including 32 as the first or corresponding author. His research spans neonatal sepsis, respiratory distress syndrome, hyperbilirubinemia, nutritional assessment, and neurological disorders in children. He has actively guided postgraduate theses and led multiple ongoing research projects investigating outcome predictors in neonates and children.
